The “An-TIKAZ-La” lodges have been designed with respect for the environment and traditional architecture. Facilities with negative effects on the environment have been limited and the lodgings benefit from the Ecodom label. Mi-Marie works daily for the preservation and enhancement of heritage. Its products are mainly from the Guadeloupe terroir (organic vegetable garden, Creole cuisine, honey, jams, etc.), and it involves local service providers and its neighbors in its approach. His mobilization in favor of the environment and his knowledge of the local natural and cultural heritage have earned him the award of the Label of the “Confidence mark of the Guadeloupe National Park” (Palme d’OR 2006), a pledge of his involvement in ecotourism
